hi is there any option to do power spectrum in fluent i am trying to do power spectra of velocity fluctuation in wake of a cylinder thanking you in advance Ayyappan.T

You can plot Power Spectrum. Go to Plot/FFT. Then choose the file and type of plot that you want.

hi i got it, but i am getting two peaks. in many literature only one peak they have reported , is there anything i have to do with the dat file Thanking you Ayyappan.T

where is the second peak? is it twice the St #. Well first is this sprectrum for Cl or Cd. There is meant to be a second peak in the Cd spectrum, and the Cl should just have one at the St. Hope this helps.

is this and isolated cylinder or on near a wall or object??
