turbulence model

I'm currently doing an investigation of flow and combustion in an oil fired boiler using FLUENT. My question is, which turbulence model do you suggest is suitable for my simulation; RNG k-e or realizable k-e. Thanks

Re: turbulence model

Hi,

I am doing a similar work with gas oil and the realizable K-e is working fine.I have not tried the other one though.

Either one of those two will do. Try both if you can.
