Default compatibility of 6.2 and 6.1

I compiled a UDF for DPM application in Fluent 6.2, but when it was read into 6.1, there were errors. Are the two version compatible for UDF,especially for DPM part? thanks,

you need to recompile the c file using 6.1 compiler and it should read then
