Reading distributions along the edge of a circle

Hi

I wanted to know if there is a way in which I could read off/export a variable distribution along a circle ( only along its edge, not the whole plane). I have a 3D geometry which looks like a brick, and I am trying to read off temperature distribution along the edge of a circle with any given radius, within the geometry.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks

Satish

hi,

I am not sure if this will help or not. In the Plot xy window, select curve length instead of direction vector.

Sham.

Hi Sham

thnx for the response. I tried doing something with that, but couldnt actually figure out how to use it I guess. For example, if I were to read the temperature distribution along a circle of radius = R, then how would I do that?? Can you please eloberate??

Thank you
