I need to simulate a bubble column with Eulerian model in Fluent, However I don't know how can I define bubble sizes between 3 to 4 mm instead of a constant bubble size ? in the phases there is a option to define bubble diameter but it's only for constant value .

Thanks

Hi Azna
U could define bubble diameter in path min/max diameter at the end secondary phase panel.

Enjoy.

2d bubble column

The reactor i need to simulate is a bubble column (2d). To create bubbles i made the gas inlet pipe with perforations and used euler-euler model for setup. I need to get a continuous flow of bubbles but when i animate and see the air flow is not uniform and air is not coming through all perforations. I doubt whether the geometry is creating any problem. Kindly help me and if my problem is not yet clear i can explain more.

Random parse error FLUENT 18.0

What's the timestep size you are using. 2 phase modeling is quite sensitive to it.

How to get the average volume fraction of air in the two-phase system?
