Default Surface tension options for VOF models

Does anybody know where I could access the surface tension options of the VOF model through the text commands.

The path 'solve/set/surface-tension' given in fluent documentaion does not exist and I could not find those options anywhere.

Moreover, I would like to know about experiences in using those options.

Thanks, Pierre

What about define/phases/interaction-domain?

You can access surface tension options also via GUI scrolling down define/phases and then clicking on "interaction".

I personally used this option (together with wall adhesion) in an preliminary study on fluid behaviour in microgravity. I know that in ZARM institute (Bremen) they used fluent in 2001 to model such phenomena. I think they also validated a test case but not sure.

Cheers

Edi.

thanks for your reply

Actually, I was refering to "hiden" surface tension options that are mentionned in 24.2.8 of Fluent documentation. I explored most of the menus of the interface, but coud not find them.

Ok, now I got it. Sorry for the delay, I was busy. To tell you the truth, I found out the solve>set>surface-tension options in the TUI without any problem...even without enabling the VOF multiphase model nor inputing the surface tension value in the phases>inteeraction panel... . Are you sure you're working with fluent 6.2? In 6.1 version those options are not available...

Cheers

Edi.
