Re: Dynamic meshing

Hello Experts,

I am new to Fluent and am trying to model the eccentric motion of a solid body in a fluid medium. A solid cylinder is rotating around its axis. But the cylinder's axis is offset from the whole domain's axis. The solid cylinder is immersed in a fluid domain. (eg. a shaft rotating within a pipe). It would be very helpful if someone can describe how i should proceed regarding setting up the problem. So far, i created 2 mesh files (one for the fluid and one for the solid domain) and integrated them, assigned a sliding interface between the fluid and the shaft. But i have no idea how to define the dynamic mesh zone parameters. Please help. Thanks, Avant
