Default problem with continuity residual

Dear All,

The scenario is a simple fire in an atrium with rectangular section. this section increases as the height increases. the fire is located in the centre of the bottom floor surrounded by 'pressure outlet' faces and there is exhaust vent (modelled as mass flow inlet)at the top floor. I use unstructured tetrahedral cells. the maximum skewness of the cell is 0.8 and there is only one cell. most of cells is in the range of 0.5. all scaled residuals are converging fine (decreasing from 1 the order of 10e-4) except continutiy scaled residual which stays between 1 and 10e-1 and it doesn't diverge.

could anyone please advice on how to improve on the continuity residual?

thank you
