Hello Folks, I am interested in learning from end users to know their experience in using various "Closure " or "Momentum interaction" terms built in Fluent. To be more specific I would appreciate any experience in using lift and virtual mass forces in multiphase flow situations. To me the virtual mass force seem to cause diverge my case file set up irrespective of all the precautionary measures I take in order to make it work. I have tried several options with virtual mass forces such as: Performing a transient flow simualtion with a very small time set up,
Reducing the underrelaxation factors, but all it causes isIVERGENCE DIVERGENCE Let me know if any one has tried virtual mass forces in FLUENT in any field. I am open for suggestions, discussions......Thanks. |
