Fluent: changing dimensions of a geometry genetaed

Hi

I am new user of fluent. Please clarify my doubts. I have created a geometry(mesh)in gambit and exported it to Fluent5/6. the dimesions of the geometry i have generated are in mm. after exporting to fluent the dimensions are in m. How to edit these dimensions.

Thanks in advance

Re: Fluent: changing dimensions of a geometry gene

Grid->Scale

Select the units that you actually modeled in (so mm in your case), and then click the "scale" button.

If you want, you can change the length units to mm under Define->Units (you'll still have to scale the model though, this only changes the displayed units... everything in the background is still done in traditional SI units).

Hope this helps, and good luck, Jason

Go to Grid - Scale Then you can define the units in which the grid was created, and scale the grid. Hope this is what you were after.

agree with Dan, go to grid - scale. this is the conventional and easiest way.
