centrifugal compressor modelling

hi all.

I'm about to undertake an analysis of centrifugal compressors with Fluent/Gmabit. However, the licence i have available to me doesn't include the Gambit turbo functions. An import mesh is not an option. does anybody know if i'll be screwed without the tubro functions or if i can 'get around it' with basic modelling techniques????

Re: centrifugal compressor modelling

Turbo function is a seperate package that you have to pay seperate money to buy the license. I am also analysing the centrifugal compressor. Currently iam using fluent and solidwork2004 and gambit for basic geometry modeling. Hope that this helps
