Have you tried to copy it in BINARY format instead of ASCII?

Hope this helps

Edi.

Two other possibilities - as the .cas file is very large, it may take some time to copy to a USB key and it is possible that you are removing the key before it has finished. To stop this from happening, make sure you unmount the USB drive before disconnecting it. Another possibility (though this tends only to occur if burning to CD) is that the file name may be capitalised. I've found that FLUENT doesn't like to load in case files if the extension (.cas/.cas.gz) is capitalised, so you might want to check that.
