Hello !! ... I am modeling the temperature in a room but in the external boundary conditions I am confused to model the sky in the enclosure, I have to give a sky temperature, but i dont know if it should be a velocity inlet or a Wall how boundary condition ?? If i utilize the type Wall, What type of material i should use??, because in this case would be air, but only appear to choose the solid materials.

Would greatly appreciate your help.

A wall made of air seems tricky. But, please specify what you want to simulate. Is there any airflow in the room? in that case you will need an inlet and an outlet somewhere - pressure outlet probably, and either velocity or pressure inlet. If the air is stationary, use all walls - but they should just be solid.

Specifically I want to model the temperature in a closed polyethylene greenhouse. I introduced the greenhouse in an enclosure to simulate the surrounding environment. The doubt I have in the enclosure, i specified a velocity inlet on one side with direction wind normal to the boundary, and a pressure outlet in the face opposite, the bottom face was denominated as a wall to simulate the ground and the other two sides and the top face was caracterized as simmetry.

But I read it to see the effect of heat loss by radiation in the greenhouse, I must give a temperature to sky, there is my question, I have the temperature, but it is supposed that i havent wind component in this face, because it was specified as normal in the other inlet face, Can I work the sky like a velocity inlet with a value zero for the speed ?? or I should to work this face as a Wall?

Xave, I wonder if you already solve this problem. I'm trying to do something like with the sky but I'm not sure how to do
