Hi users Fluent,

-Can I use Shell Conduction option in the Wall boundary condition panel in fluent to calculate the heat transfer including conjugate (solid/fluid) problem in a wall of tube in 3D?. -With the Shell conduction option, what FLUENT solveto compute the thermal resistance offered by the wall in 3D problem? a 1D or 3D conduction equation!!!.

Thank'S

Yes. Specifying a material and thickness for a wall enabled a one-dimensional equation. Turning on shell conduction enables a three-dimensional equation.
