Default symmetric flow around fuselage

Hi folks, I´m trying to simulate the flow around a fuselage. As long as I run it as a whole 3D-model, everything works fine, as soon as I try to break it down into a symmetric problem, I get stucked. Depending on the mesh-resolution, I´m sometimes not able to even generate a volumemesh with Gambit (seems to me, that Gambit might have a problem to fit a mesh between the high resolution on the fuselage and the lower resolution on the symmetric plane). When I run the symmetric simulation, I get floatingpoint errors, all residuals go up, but the continuity stays at 1 ? My BC´s are velocity inlet, outflow, symmetry, walls(shear stress=0)and the normal wall on the model. I tried to set the pressure to zero and used the axis boundary cond. instead of outflow and symmetry, but without success. Has anyone suggestions - might be a stupid beginner fault?

Thanks,

Christoph
