Automotive CFD using Fluent

I am involved in a project " applications of CFD in vehicle design" as my final year project. We're having Fluent 6.1 and Gambit 2.0 in our college. Previously I had worked on Flotran Ansys. Please help by referring some good books as well as online resources. Also guide how to go about this project as college is not having a wind tunel facility.

First, do you have the Fluent and Gambit Manuals? If not, contact your support person. Read up on boundary conditions, turbulence models, and check out some of the tutorials too.

Your project, "applications of CFD in vehicle design" may be quite broad. Are you simply doing a class project, or are you starting a research dissertation?

Why don't you do a search for other CFD papers on vehicle design.

Oh, and what kind of vehicle?
