As a new user to Fluent, what is the best pre-processor and meshing tool available? I am trying to use Gambit but I am having alot of difficulty with the interface.

Hi

I am city college mechanical engineering master studen i shoul choose some project using fluent.I want take anything in gas turbine design but i dont have any project input. could you help me to pick some project using fluent applying gas turbine.I need specific project variable(geometry,temperature etc)

Dear Craig!

I'm new user for Fluent and Gambit as you. In my opinion, to make familiar with Gambit you should study with tutorial in help. From 2D and then go on with 3D. when you use well for 1 or 2 tutorials and then you can do what is yours, otherwise to learn some more tutorials. My experience is not much, but just going step by step is better.

In the same way with Fluent, by tutorials and then the your problems. And the selested problem to start by yourself, maybe a cylinder 2D is one of the best to validate.
