Do i need to use tmerge when you using sliding mes

Hi, I am working with a stirred tank reactor. I have created two interfaces(one around the impeller(the rotating volume) and the other in the tank(stationary).

I will like to ask:

Do i need to use tmerge in FLUENT before i use sliding mesh concept?

I am confused because i prepared for simulation by linking the two interfaces using define- grid interfaces.

Pls need yr advice

nope, just define them interface and join them (as interface) before you start the calculation, you have to name the zone you want to move and define its motion, its simple.
