I doo my research about jet flow that have velocity inlet about 300 m/s and temp inlet about 900 Kelvin. My model is still on 2D. I set the top edge to be wall and outlet to be pressure outlet but it's not work. Do u have some tecnique to tell me? Please I know this maybe easy for u but I just use Fluent program for the first time... Hope to see ur reply

1- What do you mean by "I set the top edge to be wall"

a wall is a wall, with no slip boundary condition. 2- If this is your first time using FLUENT, it is a good idea to start by some tutorials?

Anyway, I asked my supervisor for some advices but I get quite not good result. I used Coupled Solver.

2 I enabled energy eqn. 3 I chose K-epsilon 2eqn+Reallizable 4 I chose Ideal gas of air. 5 It's quite difficult to explain my geometry but It's so basic. 6 I started courant number(Solution Controls) at 0.5 7 when I run it, I think I got a not good result.

Please Help me!!! leave me ur e-mail, I will send picture of geometry to u.

But u have any advices, don't hesitate to post it.

Try to use mass flow or pressure inlet.

ya, use Pressure inlet. Assuming Ma=1 at the inlet, give Po & To. Put a very fine mesh in the jet region. Use low relaxations for pressure.(0.1-0.15).

Hope this will solve ur issue.
