grid independence

i came across a sample file, in which they used reidual term in fluent for grid independence. while most of them vary the grid size (Increasing mesh density). if any one knew about these things they are most welcome to give there comments.

Hi,sangam

Grid independence check is important to illustrate the creditability of the calculation.

Generally speaking, one can select two or three sets of meshes to compare the results. You can compare velocity or other terms.

I think you could look for some papers related to this aspect. Hope it's helpful for you. Good luck.
