Combustion

Hello all. I have a question regarding combustion simulation in Fluent. I am simulating a burner with fuel-oil combustion, and I am interested what are the best strategies for simulating combustion in CFD. Is it better to start a combustion isimulation from a previuosly converged cold-flow solution or not? When is it better to include particles, before I turn on PDF or at the same time.....

Or should I just simulate all at once?

Thanks!
