Guys,

Doing a simple study to compare the Cp values to theta from a published paper.

I have used the same domain size/physical model/similar grid resolution/material and boundary conditions, however I am not getting the same value for Cp to theta.

Basically at the stagnation point (0 Degrees) I am getting a value of nearer 2... where experimental data, and the published paper suggest it should be 1.

I read somewhere that it may be an issue with the domain size.

Any thoughts?

Cheers

Pressure Coefficient greater than 1! You're breaking the laws of physics!

Set your reference values to something appropriate and try again.

I know.. crazy eh!

Okay thanks Stu, I think my depth/length reference values may be incorrect.

I did manage to improve them slightly with a higher order numerical scheme, but still not right.

Cheers

Actually.. do you know what I should use in my reference values for this type of domain (in terms of length, width, depth)? For the length I think I may have references the Cylinder Dia...
