Guidance for a project
Im an M.Tech student doing second year in Chemical Engineering. I would like to learn CFD and do my project in "Application of CFD for modelling enzymatic reactions". I dont know how to start and have no guidance. So I request if some one can guide me how to proceed. Im ready to do project in this subject( not only the one mentioned above).

Re: Guidance for a project
Hi, Hemalatha For learning CFD you can attend the courses on CFD or numerical methods in your second year. To start with the problem, you will have to define the problem first and then you can use CFD as a tool to solve the problem. If problem is too complex try to simplify by using certain assumptions. Then see the feasibility of using the commercial available S/W like FLUENT for modeling geometry and physics of the problem. Don't spend too much time in learning CFD, you can directly start with the problem. In this way will be able to learn more in less time.
