Default error while iteration

Dear all,

I have met with some problems in using fluent to simulate the flow of a liquid with an air bubble in a square channel.

I am using VOF model to simulate this flow.

The problem I met with is that whenever I input a value for the surface tension between the liquid and the gas, I will receive an error message while iterating.

Error message: "Too many sub time step. The velocity field is probably diverging……..Reduce time step"

I hope you all can give me some advice regarding this problem

Best Regards
