Coarsening an original grid

Am i able to coarsen an original grid? I tried using the "Region Adaption" method, but it doesnt seem to allow me to coarsen a region on the grid, ie. combining smaller grids to form a bigger one. Is it true that I am not able to coarsen an original grid, that is, a grid that is imported directly from GAMBIT, and not refined in anyway before that.

cheers

Re: Coarsening an original grid

It is not possible to coarse grid created by gambit. So go back in gambit and create a coarse grid that you can refine as you want within fluent.

Once you have your grid requirements, I advise you to build an equivalent grid made in gambit....
