Default previous time step macros

Does anyone have any information on previous time step macros? Literature, other than the UDF manual? Or better yet examples an using them.

I've gotten them to work in the DEFINE_ON_DEMAND macro but I would like them to be accessed by the solver after ever iteration automatically. Can they be used in other define macros? and if so, how??

Thanks for any replies,

Bryan
