I am currently trying to learn how to write UDF's however I am having problems using them in Fluent. Even when using the example from chapter 11.1 of the fluent UDF m,anual I recieve the following error:
cpp -IF:\Fluent.inc\fluent6.0/src -IF:\Fluent.inc\fluent6.0/cortex/src -IF:\Fluent.inc\fluent6.0/client/src -IF:\Fluent.inc\fluent6.0/multiport/src -I. -DUDFCONFIG_H="<udfconfig.h>" unsteady_flow.cError: unsteady_flow.c: line 1: parse error. Any expe cause of this error and any advice on how to avoid it in the future would be gratefully recieved Thanks Ted |

"Line 1: parse error" occurs on windows machines if you try to interpret your udf from a directory which have spaces in name like "C:\My Documents". Place your udf in a directory without spaces in name.
