k-e model

Hallo Fluent-users,

the residuals for the k and e fluctuate quite a bit during the iterations. Does anybody know what are the common causes (grid size too big or relaxation factor wrongly set??) and how to reduce the fluctuations to get convergence?

Thanks a lot in advance!

Are you doing a steady simulation? In that case please try unsteady simulation at first. And then steady simulation can be started.

If you have the same problem, remesh your domain. Use denser grids for high gradient areas. Try this with using the same number of meshes you use now.
