Heat Transfer from Solid To Liquid!

I must be doing something wrong here! Im not getting any heat flux across the interface between solid and liquid! Ive set it as a coupled interface, so Im not sure why theres no heat flux.

Re: Heat Transfer from Solid To Liquid!

Why do you believe there is no heat flux? Because you don't see any in the contour plots, or because the numerical value reported by Fluent for the heat flux is exactly 0.

Is is a stationary calculation or transient? Does the solid has a heat energy source or somewhere a fixed temperature?

good luck, Laika, still orbiting
