grid check in FLUENT
 

I had a problem in grid check.When I check the grid, the result was like this,

WARNING!grid check failed

I didn't know why.Please anybody help me

do you have negative volumes in the mesh.

I comfirmed that there are no negative volume existed.

humm, when you do the grid check, it writes lot of things before wwriting that the grid check failed. Did you see anything wrong in it. Left-right handedness issues etc. For us its difficult to say anything from just a grid check failed.

Hello, I am not sure but i think when u meshing in the Gambit then there is something error occur. chek every steps when u meshing the volume or face. There is message before mesh means it failed in intilization. Some time it failed in intilization but it show that mesh is complete. check first this then tell what happened. By Mann Prasad
