unable to track particle(single injection)

i got a problem while tracking the particle in flow using DISCREET PHASE MODEL. My problem consists of caturing of sand particles ( single injection ) in a duct (2-D).the particle has to either captured by a water drop which is located in the duct or escape .the flow is axis symmetric along the horizontal axis of duct and the water drop is on the axis. When i inject a particle offset to the axis from entrance of duct FLUENT tracks particle for a range of offset distances (approx till Y= 0.4times of drop diameter)but after that when i increase offset distance FLUENT is unable to track particle at the point of injection only. This happens for different diameter of particles at different offset distances. sum of the data tht i used is as follows (laminar flow ,drop dia = 100 micrometre particle dia=2 micrometer, velocity of flow = 5 m/s i.e. Re=32 , Fluid=air) Inlet boundary condition=velocity inlet oulet B.C= Pressaure outlet Drop=as a wall

DRAG RELATIONSHIP USED IN DPM= spherical law no interaction ENERGY EQUATION NOT TO B SOLVED.
