tracer study

Hi.. i want to conduct tracer study by using fluent. After finalizing fluid i.e. component of mixture is there any nessecity to give different characteristic values such as fluid viscocity etc. or default value given by fluent is correct?. please if anyone knows tell me about the same. have a nice day bye...

hi rameshwari for tracer studies what u have to do is just inject the tracer at the inlet for very short duration of time.The properties of this tracer should be as of that parent material .One more thing the mixter of these two also should have same properties
