Default Primary Sedimentation Tanks

Hallo, I would like to simulate a primary Sedimentation tank. I've already done a 3D model. I have the following bc. velocity inlet two phases (water and solid) with specific physical parameters concerning the density and viscosity. outflow for the outflow of the domain symmetry for the free surface of the tank.

Is anybody to know which is the best multiphase model (the 2nd phase has a volume fraction of 0.0004) VOF, or Mixture? How can I specify the parameters of the second phase?
