specific heat

hi I need to make a new material in Fluent. I need to do a solution of salt and water. It`s properties depand of temperature and concetration. How do do density, viscosity I know but what aboute specific heat? Is it possible or not. In my case specific heat change its value with temperature and concetration changes. Haw to deal with this problem???

Re: specific heat

Hey Man, I think you have to use UDF function. You can see many example about DEFINE_PROPERTY macros in UDF manual. If you don't have this manual please say me. Best Regards, Farid,

Re: specific heat

Yes you are right that we can define all properties by UDF. All bur not a specific heat. Bellow is an part of UDF Tutorial:

{".......UDFs cannot be used to de ne speci c heat properties; speci c heat data can be accessed only and not modi ed in FLUENT........" 4.3 Model-Dependent DEFINE Macros} So haw to deal with it? regards
