Hi,

I'm running through the Fluent tutorial on Dynamic Meshes. At Step 8, when adding the source file (valve.c) as a UDF, I get the following error mesages after building and loading:

******************************8

1 file(s) copied.

1 file(s) copied. (system "move user_nt.udf libudf\ntx86\2d")0 (system "copy C:\Fluent.Inc\fluent6.1\src\makefile_nt.udf libudf\ntx86\2d\makefile") 1 file(s) copied. 0 (chdir "libudf")() (chdir "ntx86\2d")() 'nmake' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. 'nmake' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

Done.

Opening library "libudf"... Error: open_udf_library: The system cannot find the file specified.

Error Object: ()

*************************** I'm running Fluent with Windows XP. In the source file window only "valve" appears, rather than the entire path (eg. c:fluentinc./tutfiles/dynmesh/valve.c).

Does anyone know how to resolve this problem?

Your help is much appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Alex

Hi, thanks for the response,

yes, I just tried to compile it on a Linux System and it is giving me the same error messages.

Has anyone tried doing tutorial number 11 in the Fluent 6.1 Manual?

If anyone knows how to solve the problem please let me know.

Thanks
