Default Granular starting point not at a boundary

Hi, I am using the Eurlerian method for modelling gas flow through a flowline. I have a gas phase flowing from the inlet, and at a certain point along the flowline (i.e. not at a boundary) i want a granular phase to start flowing. Does anyone know how to add a phase to a flow at a point other than a boundary???

Thanks in advance, Mike
