enthalpy

Hi, I would like adding source in energy eguation. My source is S = Cp*dh/dx, where cp is specific heat, dh/dx is derivation enthalpy. How introduce derivation enthalpy to Fluent. When I writing in my udf derivation enthalpy is C_H_G(c,t) [I set: Keep temporary solver memory from being freed? [yes] ] fluent received fatal signal (ACCESS_VIOLATION)...

Please help me!!! Best regards Tomik.

Re: enthalpy

Could be a lot of things....

1) Are you using in the same time an adaptaive mesh method based on the gradient ? if yes switch it off, and try again.

2) If Cp is constant, you can use instead C_T_G(c,t) see if it works....

for more details, please show you UDF source....

Thanks for your suggestions. In my case specific heat is function temperature. How switch off adaptative mesh method??? Where is this setting? Can you explain me exlactly?

Best regards Tomik.
