forces in fluent

I have one doubt in quarter model in fluent. Should I multiply the force value given by fluent report by 4 to get real value of force in case of quarter model simulation?

Thanks

Re: forces in fluent

yes you should multiply by 4 I have a half model for drag force calculation and multiply the force by 2. but if you are interested in drag or lift coefficient there is no need for multiplying. simply you can use the 1/4 area in the reference values panel and the problem is solved
