pressure distribution and friction factor
 
HI My full domain is a rectangular channel with x=10 cm long, y=5 cm wide and z=3 cm height. The origin (0,0,0) is in the centre of the inlet boundary. It is symmetric. So I created geometry with x=10 cm long, y=2.5 cm wide and z=1.5 cm height. Origin (0,0,0)on the inlet boundary. Then I used boundary conditions two sides wall and two sides symmetry. I want to find out pressure distribution on the centre line i.e. considering full domain I want pressure distribution on the line y=0 and z=0 and x from 0 to 10. How can I do it? Also how can I find out friction factor? Thanks. Tajul

hi, Use the option surface --> line (for X-y Plot) or surface (for 2D Contour) and create. Now goto display and select the line or surface u want to view. hope it is helpfull to u.
