Default Porous media Interfacial boundary condition

I am interested in knowing how others find shear stresses at the face/surface between a fluid zone and an adjacent porous zone. In fluent this face is usually an interior boundary. I am mainly interested in turbulent incompressible flow conditions. But laminar conditions can also be helpful.
