what does SIMPLE stand for?

It's one of the options for pressure-velocity coupling, in the Solver menu. I found the discussion on the Wiki, but no definition. Also searched the forums but it didn't jump out at me either.

Thanks for clueing me in. I can't submit my thesis until this is defined!
