modelling a propeller

Hi,
Im a newbie to FLUENT and I have to model a 3D propeller in a wind tunnel. I have made several attempts to this problem but can''t seem to get a solution. one of the methods I have tried is by using 2 meshes (combined using tmerge). One is a cylinder containing the blade profile, and the other is a larger cylinder that had the smaller cylinder engulfed in it. The smaller cylinder is set to rotate while the outer cylinder is stationary. No good results have been achieved. Does anyone have any strategies or links to suggest concerning this problem? Thank you |
