How can I monitor pressure at a point?

Hello, I'm doing unsteady calculation and I want to monitor the pressure at a fixed point for each timestep. How can I do that in fluent? Thanks.

1 difine point:surface--point(input cordinates of point wanted) 2 solve--monitors--surface--fill your information to dialog table(to choice "pressure" under report...

Thanks a lot man!

Hello, I followed your steps but the static pressure is always 0. What should I choose for 'Report Type'? I chose 'Integral'. Thanks again.

Choose area weighted average. Also save the values at every time step, not every iteration.

I want to monitor a pressure at a point which attached in moving wall. How can I make this point moving together with the wall?

Hi,

I know this is an old topic, but I actually want to do the exact same thing as freeday but haven't been able to find a solution for it. Isn't there is simple way to move your monitor?

Hello All,

I have extracted the pressure as mentioned above but unfortunately pressure value is not matching with the experimental value with similar wave characteristics. More specifically, I am interesting in dynamic pressure.

Can anybody help me to find out the exact reason:)

Thank you in Advance!
