How to control pressure jump in a fan?
Hi,
I'm doing a project in which I need to create the performance curve of a fan (pressure jump versus flow rate) and I'm having problems with the boundary conditions, I have tried pressure inlet and pressure outlet, 2 pressure outlets and finally mass flow inlet and outflow. With the last one Fluent doesn't make anything, and tells me that k diverges. Can somebody tell me which one of the 3 boundary conditions is better for my purpose, and if it is the third one, does anyone know what the problem is? Thank you |

Tutorial 8, Using multiple rotating reference frames deals with a centrifugal blower, pressure-inlet and pressure outlet are used, k-epsilon turbulence model. Check your mesh and Good Luck
