Finding average x-velocity at any particular x.

Im presently working on a 2d problem of flow in a rectangular channel. I have x-velocities at all grid points. Can any one suggest a method for finding average x-velocity at any particular x value.

i know that numerical integration along y-direction and division by the hieght of the channel can give the average velocity. The values I am getting after numerical integration are not up to mark because of the error in numerical integration.

Please help. Thanks

Hi, try use summation

Point monitor, then assign the mass averaged velocity to that point monitor and by the way, pay attention to your reference values. Read the user guide for the details or contact your support engineer
