Where can I choose RANS and RNG!!!

I want to use Reynolds-Average Navier-Stokes (RANS) and RNG model to run my case,

when I click to define --> viscous, which one should I choose then??

I don't understand your question, sorry.

Re: Where can I choose RANS and RNG!!!

Actually, I have try to use standard k-e equation model to run the wind flow thow a building. And the result is OK. But I know that this scheme is not good enough. And there are other scheme such as Reynolds-Average Navier-Stokes RANS, RNG k-e equation model etc.

And I want to use Reynolds-Average Navier-Stokes (RANS) to run my case.

How can I choose Reynolds-Average Navier-Stokes (RANS) in fluent??

Hi Maoasis,

I think (hope!) you mean to say Reynolds Stress...??

All of the turbulence models which time or ensemble average the Navier Stokes equations are called RANS models.

You should see options for Reynolds Stress models on the same pannel.

Bak_Flow is correct: perhaps you are confusing terms here. One equation models (Spallart-Almaras, Baldwin-Lomax...), k-e models (standard, RNG, Realizable) and k-w (Willcox, SST...) are all RANS. I think you meant you want to use the RSM model... but it is also a RANS!

Beyond RANS (implemented in FLuent) you have the Detached Eddie Simulation and the Large Eddie Simulation (DES and LES)... any other model would be a RANS one.

All the models in FLuent are located in the same panel (Define->Models->Viscous)

Good luck!
