Hi all, I am trying to simulate an evaluate the noise radiation from a mixed flow fan using fluent(example for these type of fans are the fans located on motors to cool the motors). can any body help in this regard how to simulate the flow model.

i have the following doubts in fluent

1) can we use the acoustic module in fluent to predict the noise radiation for turbomachinery. 2) do we need to have mesh in the far field area where we want the acoustic radiation.
