Hello,
iŽd like to have a variable inlet velocity in order to simulate a pulsed stream. As far as I know it can be done by using UDFs. Can anybody help me out here and maybe give me some idea on how to do this? IŽve never worked with UDFs before. Thanks Sascha |

Hi you can find the solution to your problem in the FLUENT 6.2 UDF Manual at the chapter related with the DEFINE_PROFILE macro that is the 4.3.13, there is an example in which a variable mass flow rate is introduced as a boundary condition, you can modify easily this udf to a variable velocity profile. good luck
