Initialisation of adapted mesh

Default Initialisation of adapted mesh

I am running some simulations and am adapting the mesh based on flow conditions. What I do not see in the Fluent infomation is notes on how the new nodes are initialised.

Do they simply take flow data from the cell that that have 'grown' from?
