Default How to represent two phase flow in Gambit

Hi ‎ How I can represent two phase (air-water) flow in a pipe using gambit in which the air ‎layer be flow over the water layer and there is interface between the two phases. ‎Anyone Kindly assist me in this problem? Thanks K.Baker

You do this in the VOF model when you use Fluent. Not in Gambit. It appears that you have serious trouble in multiphase CFD basics. I'd recommend reading some classic journal articles on simulating multiphase flow using CFD.

Can you tell me to how can I define two phase (air-water) flow entering pipe with ‎different velocities using the VOF model.‎ Can you also send me any solved example in this problem. Many Thanks K.Baker

Please check section 24.2.9 (Open Channel Flow) in the manual.

I am not found this section in the manual and I think the reason due to that I used Fluent ‎‎5 and may its manual did not contain this section can you please send me this section by ‎my email khalidb77@yahoo.co.uk. Thanks a lot Khalid Baker
